The Greensboro Coliseum Complex is an indoor arena that went under extensive renovation and went from a 15,000 seating venue to over 20,000 seats today

It is located in Greensboro North Carolina the third largest city in North Carolina with a population of about 260,000 in Guilford Country and the surrounding Piedmont Triad which consist of Winston-Salem and High Point and of course Greensboro, served by the Piedmont Triad International Airport.  Do not confuse the Triad with “Triangle” region of Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill which is directly east.

The Triad combined statistical area is about1.6 million people the 30th largest metropolitan area in the USA.  The Triangle directly east has a metropolitan area of 1.4 million.  As you will see on the map these areas are adjacent and people will come from many directions to see the show, therefore promotions have to cover a large area.  And something that might not show up in the census is the huge college population in North Carolina the Tried is an important educational region.  Promotions have to make to the college dormitories and not just the cities.

The secret to the North Carolina population are the Universities, we have to reach out the college population.

Janet Jackson and LL Cool J will be performing at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex Saturday 4 October 2008, which perfect for the student population.  I think we want to target the student population who may not have established credit yet in some cases, so a system of sales has to be setup to do business with the college students at the colleges even if it mean breaking off blocks of tickets for selected colleges to be sold by the student organizations and fraternities.
